Désiré Bruant, winemaker in Ormes, a small town near Orléans in France, founded Maison Bruant in 1877 after the phylloxera epidemic that decimated his vineyard.
The historical wine merchant business, transmitted from father to son, has developed and enriched over the decades under the impetus of each generation. After Maurice, Marcel and Michel, Benoit and Isabelle Bruant took over the company in 1993.
They split the wine merchant activity from the distribution business by creating Bruant Distribution in 2012 to meet the growing demand of professional customers across France.
The company specialises in the distribution of spirits and wines in On-Trade and Off-Trade market
