Angostura 1824 is a captivating rum of high quality obtained by a "blend" of aged rums (distilled from fermented melasse) of minimum 12 years aged in American oak barrels (which have undergone a strong heating and selected by hand by the "Master Blender"). Then, this selection rests in other barrels for additional aging in the cellars of Angostura.
1824 is the reference year for Angostura, year of their foundation in Venezuela and the real start for a worldwide success.
