Batavia Arrack is a white rum made on the island of Java in Indonesia from cane sugar molasses that is distilled twice.
The only difference with other rums is the use of a little bit of local red rice during the fermentation period.
It is then transported to Amsterdam where it is assembled by the By The Dutch Master Blender and bottled.
