Tricorne Blended White Rum is a translucent white rum bottled by «La Compagnie des Indes» and launched in May 2016. It is the accomplishment of a fusion of rums of different styles including 55% of rums distilled from molasses and 40% of freshly fermented cane juice to which was added 5% of «Batavia Arrack». The countries of origin are: Indonesia, Jamaica, Trinidad and Reunion Island.

Arrack is written in different ways: Arak, Arack, Arrack or Batavia Arrack. The term is used for a wide range of totally different alcoholic products, distilled from many different raw materials. Some products called Arak are alcoholic beverages based on anise, others based on palm, coconut or other raw materials. When the product is called Batavia Arrack, it is a distillate made from sugar cane molasses, distilled exclusively on the island of Java, Indonesia.

«Batavia Arrack» has always been used for the spirits industry in countries that negotiated with the East Indies, either as a small component or as a major element.

Tricorne is a rum with a unique character with an expressive, fresh and lively nose with powerful aromas of sugar cane, fruits, herbaceous notes and a hint of nuts.
