A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy 70cl / 40 %
This rum was recreated after the original recipe of the "Royal Navy Rhum" as designed by Albert Heinrich Riise. He delivered it to the ships of the Danish navy which anchored in the port of Charlotte Amalie in the Danish Indies (The Virgin Islands today).
This superb rum is a combination of several rums up to 20 years old. It is produced from melasse and undergoes a slow fermentation before being distilled with the traditional still.
