Here is the 4th and last agricultural rum of the new cocktail range of the Trois Rivières distillery.

For this rum, Trois Rivières was inspired by the burning of standing canes, a method traditionally used by cane cutters to remove sharp leaves and snakes before cutting.  The canes are then cut after the fires are extinguished and transported still smoking to be crushed.  The juice is then fermented and distilled in Creole column then reduced to 43% with source water infused with burnt cane powder, boiled, then filtered.

This process produces a unique rum with a rustic and smoky profile.
