The Barbados 8 YO rum is part of the new Cane Island series which focuses on "Single Estate" rums each from a unique distillery.  In the case of Cane Island Barbados 8 years old, it is the famous Foursquare distillery of Barbados which produces among other things the Doorly’s range.

Made from molasses, it was then distilled in a column still and then aged for 8 years in old Bourbon barrels.
