El Dorado 15 years is a traditional rum from the Guyanese distillery Demerara Distillers that draws its aromatic power from its distillation method.
It is a blend of several rums distilled in coffey stills and in the Port Mourant wooden still.
The barrels used for aging are barrels that previously contained bourbon.
