hocolate has been an integral part of Mexican culture since the Mayan era. Deadhead Dark Chocolate is inspired by ancient recipes dating back to the Mayans and Aztec emperors.

It is handcrafted in a family distillery in the Chiapas region. After aging for 5 years, the rum is infused with locally harvested black cocoa and then roasted slowly. This process highlights the natural qualities of the Deadhead rum in a perfect balance between rum and chocolate.

The originality of this spirit also lies in its packaging in the shape of a reduced monkey’s head whose eyes and mouth would have been sewn together with the back of the skull.
