The 12 YO Nicaragua ron is part of the Cane Island series which focuses on "Single Estate" each from a unique distillery.  In the case of Cane Island Nicaragua 12 years, the name of the distillery that produced it is kept secret.

Made from molasses, it was then distilled in column still and aged for 12 years in old Bourbon barrels.
