Don Julio 1942 is a 100% agave tequila in limited production created in 2002 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Primera distillery, founded in 1942 by Don Julio Gonzales.
It produces exquisite tequilas in a complex process from growing agave to bottling. Don Julio 1942 is a tequila produced in small batches. Made from hand-selected agaves and after a double distillation in a special still, this tequila is aged for at least 2 and a half years in American oak barrels.
