The Dry gin Diplôme was reinvented in 2013 using the same recipe that had made its success in 1945 during the Second World War: spices and aromatic herbs from Europe and Morocco macerated in beet alcohol and distilled in small stills.
For the record, this gin was produced from 1945 to 1966 especially for the needs of the US army stationed in France, following a tender won by a distillery in Dijon.
