Linie is the oldest Aquavit brand in the world. Its production dates back to 1805 when the Norwegian merchant family Lysholm first sent Aquavit made from potatoes to India. Nobody wanted it, so the aquavit returned to its port of departure. Upon his arrival in 1807, it was discovered that his voyage at sea had had a beneficial effect on his taste.
Since then, Aquavit Linie has been making a sea trip around the world as it ages, crossing Ecuador twice.
It is an ideal drink to enjoy with friends, in cocktail or to accompany smoked salmon and sushi.
