Glenkinchie The Distillers Edition, this single malt, a special edition with a barrel finish of Sherry «Amontillado» from the district of Macharnudo de Jerez.

This whisky is part of the «The Distillers Edition» selection. It was distilled in the two copper stills of the Glenkinchie distillery, which is still among the largest. It was elaborated in a traditional way and its cooling took place in a cast iron barrel, instead of a modern condenser in order to provide this whisky more character and depth.

Each expression of Distillers Edition benefited from a second (or double) maturation in barrels that previously contained a fortified wine, in this case, an Amontillado.
