Talisker Distillers Edition is a limited edition whisky with a typical maritime, smoky and peaty character. Talisker" is the only whisky produced on the Isle of Skye by the distillery "Talisker". Founded in 1830, it is located on the steep banks of Loch Harport in the peaks of Cuillin to the west of the island. The famous and popular writer and traveler Robert Louis Stevenson described this whisky as "The King o'drinks". (the king of drinks). This single malt is part of the "The Distillers Edition" series and its second maturation took place in old Amoroso barrels which brings to its maritime character a lot of richness and fruity notes.
