The Antiquary Blended Scotch Whisky is the entry level "blend" whisky from the "The Antiquary" range containing an exceptionally high proportion of high quality malt whiskies, which has aged in oak barrels.
Since 1997, "The Antiquary" belongs to Tomatin at the time of the acquisition of J.W. Hardie who developed the whiskies "The Antiquary" for more than 150 years.
Its name, "The Antiquary" is taken from the famous gothic novel written by Sir Walter Scott, evoking family secrets, stories of hidden treasure and hopeless love.
It is a soft and perfectly balanced "blend" whisky with a light and fresh character.
