The Clos des Epeneaux is one of the ten largest monopoles in premier cru or grand cru of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Located in the heart of the Grands and Petits Epeneaux, it has a geology quite different from its neighbors.
The wines produced here have both power and finesse, quintessence of what Pinot Noir can reveal through Pinot Noir. They also have spicy notes characteristic of the Clos des Epeneaux.
