Domaine des Epeneaux owes its name to the Clos des Epeneaux, a 5-hectare parcel of land established in the early 19th century. Since then, the estate has grown to its present 9 hectares, extending over the villages of Pommard, Volnay and Auxey-Duresses.

"1er Cru Clos Epeneaux" is made from Pinot Noir only, which provides a sophisticated red wine with aromas of flowers, red fruits and spices.
