Buffalo Trace is the American whiskey, entry-level of the distillery, par excellence: sweet, crispy, supple and well balanced at the best value and subtle taste. It is made from the best corn, rye and barley malt and aged in new white oak barrels.

In 2014, 2015 and 2016, at the «San Francisco World Spirits Competition», Buffalo Trace won multiple gold medals. Buffalo Trace Distillery has won a number of accolades for its products, including seven «Distillery of the Year» awards at various international whisky competitions.

Buffalo Trace Distillery proudly proclaims itself the oldest permanent distillery in the United States.   It dates back to the time when pioneers settled in the west during the 18th century. Even during Prohibition, the distillery remained open thanks to the creation of «medical» whisky.   Its name comes from the traces left by the first pioneers of America and the bison who crossed the plains to settle there.
