Finlaggan Sherry Cask Finish is a peaty, spirited and young whisky, one of the three new versions of the Finlaggan range. This one was finished in sherry barrels for a while. This technique brings fruitiness and somehow tames the character, bringing it fruitiness and a sweet/ salty taste.
On the nose, it offers fruit, chocolate and peat. On the palate, it reveals peat as well as flavors of red fruits, citrus, raisins and pepper. The finish is long with peat again as well as fruits, spices and herbs.
