Glenfarclas is a distillery that is known for its production of traditional single malts. It is a very jealous distillery since to this day it is still independent and owned by the «Grant» family since its creation in 1836.
Distillation has always taken place in the same types of copper stills with a unique shape. Its success is due to the fresh spring water that flows from the heather slopes of the 840-metre-high «Ben Rinnes» mountain.
