Glenfiddich 12 YO Triple Oak is a sweet and complex single malt made from the blend of three types of oak barrels: American oak barrels, European oak barrels containing sherry and finally what makes it original: in French virgin oak barrels. This is an unusual approach on whiskies, this is usually used in the wine estate.
These barrels are burnt giving beautiful spicy and vanilla notes and aromas of toasted almonds, ginger and woody spices.
