Akashi Meïsei is a Japanese whisky "blend" and the result of a mix of single malts aged 45% in American oak barrels contrary to the usual 30%.
Specially designed for the French market, it is a limited edition.
It is produced by the White Oak distillery, known as one of the oldest distilleries in Japan and owned by the Eigashima company.
"Meïsei" means "celebrity in Japanese.
