Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky is a Japanese whisky slightly darker in color than its little brother «Nikka Coffey Grain». Its production takes place in the same still «Coffey» as the latter at the Miyagikyo distillery.

Its nose is very different and richer than its little brother with a larger initial impression. It offers a lot of tropical fruits (peaches, papayas, bananas) and more malt aroma as well as hints of caramel, vanilla and a hint of oak.

The palate is sweet, rich, tasty, silky, mellow and very fruity from the start with honey on top of tropical fruits, caramel, vanilla and some additional black fruits (berries, plums). A complex and mid-long finish with sweet and chocolate notes with a slight creamy bitterness.
