Scots Lion is a blend of Scotch whisky made from Scotch malt and grain whiskies. It is then aged for 3 years in oak barrels.
Legend has it that the whisky "Scots Lion" derives its som from the nickname of King William I of Scotland which his compatriots called the "Scottish Lion". The recipe for this whisky goes back to Queen Mary of Scotland and was adapted by Campbell Mayer, new owner of the brand.
