Wilder Seas represents a significant milestone for the Talisker distillery, as it is its first whisky to be finished in French oak barrels that previously contained Cognac XO. This whisky with maritime accents is characterized by its intensity and complexity, offering aromas of dry grapes and ripe fig from the maturation in barrels of cognac XO. However, it still retains the subtle spicy peat, a distinctive signature of the Talisker distillery.

Talisker and the NGO Parley share a common mission, that of preserving wild marine ecosystems around the world. The founder of the NGO Parley for the Oceans, Cyrill Gutsch, leads a relentless fight against plastic pollution in the oceans. Their goal is to rapidly transform man-made materials and systems to fit harmoniously into the natural setting of our planet.

For each bottle of Talisker Wilder Seas sold, the distillery agrees to donate 3€ to the NGO Parley. This edition also reflects Talisker’s commitment to the preservation of the seas. The bottle is made from 100% recycled glass, produced using green energy, while its label is made from sugar cane and flax. In addition, Wilder Seas is offered without a case, which reduces CO2 emissions related to its packaging by 77%.
