It symbolizes the tradition and history of New Orleans. The origin of «Rye Whiskey» dates back to the 1800s, when salons, known as «Coffee Houses», began to appear on the streets of New Orleans. It was at the «Sazerac Coffee House» on Royal Street that local customers were served with the Sazerac and that’s how the very first American brand cocktail was born. Sazerac: the whiskey with which everything began.

Sazerac Rye offers a sweet and balanced nose of allspice (allspice), cloves, ginger, vanilla, citrus, candied fruit and pepper. On the palate, you will be seduced by its thick, crispy, velvety, tasty and delicious mouth with syrupy notes of Seville oranges, vanilla and spices (cloves, anise, pepper) and sweets. The finish is medium, supple and peppery with a tingling of sweet spices and a hint of liquorice.
