Created in 1837, the estate belongs to the Montifaud family for 6 generations. The vineyard extends over 125 hectares in Grande and Petite Champagne on an exceptional terroir due to its rate of active limestone.
With a know-how passed down from generation to generation, Château Montifaud distills its wines with lees in order to concentrate the perfumes, accentuate the roundness and suppleness and then age them in 350L Limousin oak barrels.
